Three Lowbed Semi-trailers Shipped To Kenya

Yesterday, Shandong Fudeng Automobile shipped three brand-new lowbed semi-trailers to Kenya by sea. These were customized models specifically purchased by a Kenyan logistics company to meet local construction equipment transportation needs. This represents another large order for Fudeng lowbed semi-trailers in the East African market this year.

The lowbed semi-trailer delivered this time is a specialized model developed by Fudeng for the complex transportation scenarios in Africa. Considering that Kenyan customers primarily use it for long-distance transport of wind turbine equipment and heavy machinery, the vehicle features a reinforced main beam design welded from Q345B high-strength steel.The main beam cross-section is 500mm high, increasing the load-bearing capacity by 15% compared to conventional models. A single unit can easily carry 60 tons of heavy equipment, fully meeting customers' needs for transporting large engineering equipment.

The vehicle's suspension system has been customized to suit Kenya's mountainous and unpaved terrain. It utilizes a multi-leaf spring structure, with each axle equipped with multiple thickened spring steel blades. Combined with reinforced axles, this effectively cushions road bumps and reduces vibration damage to heavy equipment during transport.Furthermore, the low, flat platform, located just 1.2 meters above the ground, features a hydraulically foldable ladder and a non-slip surface, allowing for autonomous loading and unloading of heavy machinery without the need for additional lifting equipment, significantly improving on-site operational efficiency.

The vehicle's detailed design fully demonstrates Fudeng's expertise in manufacturing. The platform utilizes a full-plate stamping process, resulting in a 3mm-deep anti-slip pattern, ensuring stable transport even in muddy, rainy season conditions.The axles are equipped with the renowned braking system, achieving a braking response time of just 0.8 seconds. Combined with the ABS anti-lock braking system, the vehicle achieves smooth deceleration on downhill mountain roads.Furthermore, the vehicle features pre-installed mounting ports for hydraulic outriggers, allowing customers to add stabilization devices as needed, further expanding its use cases.

"From order confirmation to production and delivery took only 28 days, a week ahead of our expectations," said a Kenyan customer representative during a video inspection of the vehicle.The Fudeng team not only customized the countertops as requested but also added LED position lights and reflective signage, fully complying with Kenyan road transport standards.

Fudeng will continue to provide after-sales support to ensure the vehicles' long-term, stable operation in the local area. The three vehicles are expected to arrive in Kenya in 15 days and be deployed for transportation work on the local wind power project.
